i100 Final Project Guidelines

And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.

-2 Timothy 2:2

During your i100 experience, we hope that you have grown and matured in your leadership. But also been empowered to encourage the next generation of leadership. Through your final project, we would like you to reflect up on how you have grown and how you plan on passing on what you have learned to others.

Final Project Objective:

The purpose of the Final Project is to reflect on your i100 journey and share how it has shaped your leadership.

NOTE: If you are a participant who joined at the beginning of year 3, your due date for this final project is later. You do not need to start on this until you have completed all of year 2, year 4, and have had an executive coach.

Part 1: Behavior Changes

Think about the theme of each year listed below. For each theme, tell a short story of how you were impacted, how you used what you learned, or how your leadership behavior changed because of i100.

  • Year 1: Leading Self & Next Kid Framework
  • Year 2: Leadership Development
  • Year 3: Community Engagement
  • Year 4: Ministry Support

All teaching materials from in-person events and online lessons are on the i100 website for you to review.

Format Options: This is not meant to be a formal paper. The goal is to reflect and share your story. You may choose one of the following ways to present your reflections:

  • Write your stories (in any format).
  • Record a short video where you tell your story. A recorded Zoom call or a video you film on your phone or computer.
  • Create a simple presentation (e.g., PowerPoint) that explains your stories.

Language: You may write or speak in the language you are most comfortable with. Please also include a short English translation of your work. You may use Google Translate or AI translation tools to help with translation.

Part 2: Leadership Principles & Development

Question 1: During i100, you have learned many things about yourself and your leadership. Share one to two leadership principles that you discovered and that you want to carry forward into your future leadership.

Question 2: Considering all that you experienced during your i100 journey, how would you encourage someone on your first branch of your Leadership Tree (assuming they were given the opportunity) to engage with the i100 experience?

Part 3: Supervisor Report (SVP or Direct Supervisor)

Ask your supervisor to write a short two-paragraph report answering these two questions:

  1. What growth have you seen in your i100 participant over the last 4 years?
  2. What growth do you still hope to see in them?

Attach this report to your project.

Part 4: Suporting Documents

Please attach the following documents:

  1. Map, Tree, and List (MLT): from 2022 and your most current version.
  • If you do not have your 2022 MLT, contact the i100 Office. They should have copies submitted before Nairobi.
  1. CMC Reports: from 2022 to 2026.
